Delivery & setup is included within the first 100 miles of the Commonwealth Cake Company private studio. Your cake will be delivered in a secure and insulated CakeSafe to keep it protected from the elements and damage.

Weddings

Congratulations on your engagement! We're honored to be considered as the cake designer for your special day. Our process starts with getting to know all about you and your plans for the big celebration.

Via phone or email, we will discuss your event details and you will be emailed initial pricing information. To move forward in the process, we request that you secure your date with a retainer and Save the Date contract. Then we'll schedule your tasting (on us)!

I do have a $1500 minimum in place. It reflects the level of premium service I provide, my attention to detail, and ensures I'm able to continue producing work that I am proud of.
Pricing does depend on many factors including guest count, size, and intricacy of the details.

Step 01.

Next, we will schedule a cake tasting and design consultation. This is where we ask you to bring any items you have that could be used as design elements for your cake. This could be the invitation suite, linen samples, lace from your dress, wedding style board, etc. We will use these details to customize your cake design.

We will conclude the meeting by tasting delicious cake. Tastings are held twice a month on Sundays.

If you need more time to decide if we're the right cake vendor, we can begin with a paid tasting prior to securing your date.

We'll collaborate to create a unique flavor profile that will leave your guests wanting more.
We will discuss your wedding day details to design a cake worthy of a Vogue spread.

Step 02.

We do require a signed contract and $500 non-refundable retainer to book your date. Once you’ve booked we will send you a detailed custom sketch. The sketch serves as a roadmap for the design of your cake and includes notes on your design elements.

From here, we will work directly with your wedding planner to work out the final delivery details. You can relax and look forward to seeing, and definitely eating, your dream cake.
